Horndon School storage shed

Horndon School storage shed

In May 2004 we were asked by Horndon School to design a new storage shed to house school equipment.

To begin with we felt that the roof could become a habitat in itself and we therefore designed the shed with 4" of waste soil and sand for planting with a mixture of drought-tolerant species.

We originally incorporated a football net into the front of the shed with a painted plywood surface behind the net to provide space for a mural designed by the school kids.

In 2007, this was turned into a stage area, with a mural designed and painted by Class 3.
