In our garden at Chelsea in 2007 we used brick and concrete rubble as a substrate for the planted 'garage roof'. We are hoping to secure funding to 'green' 32 of the flat roofed garages on the estate the garden was based  upon.

We have built the green roofs for two Essex Wildlife Trust gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show in the past.

In 2004 it was a wild flower meadow, and in 2005 a sedum roof.

Both received Silver Gilt Awards.
